LIVE NATION x HULU | ON STAGE

A Hulu VR Exclusive and Live Nation Production, this short form, multi-part series - ON STAGE - takes a deep dive into the creative process of an artist’s live music experience. This rare look into the artist’s world will go beyond the headlines and their hit songs and take the viewer on a journey of what inspires them on and off the stage. Produced by Live Nation in association with CREATE+DESTROY, and directed by C+D's Jeff Nicholas. 

Episode 1 features Lil Wayne and premieres 1/26/17 on Hulu VR. Episode 2 features Major Lazer, with more to come. 

HOONIGAN | GYMKHANA 9 VR EXPERIENCE

Ken Block is a madman, and Gymkhana 9 was no exception. Working alongside the amazing production team from Hoonigan, CREATE+DESTROY's Jeff Nicholas directed the Gymkhana 9 VR Experience for Ford VR and Ford Performance through VR production company VEHICLEvr.  An amazing experience and some incredible footage. 

BLUE DIAMOND ALMONDS | THE LANE TO GREATNESS

An experience taking you inside the mind and training of Olympic swimmer Matt Grevers. Directed by Jeff Nicholas for production company OGO Interactive through agency The Marketing Arm and their clients Blue Diamond Almonds and USA Swimming.

THEIRWORLD | SAFE SCHOOLS: NEPAL

A VR documentary on the conditions of the education system and the challenges faced by children in Nepal one year after the 2015 earthquakes. Co-Directed by Jeff Nicholas with Jonathan Craven, Christian Stephen, and Dylan Roberts for production companies VEHICLEvr and Freelance Society, via agency RAIN and non-profit Theirworld.

HOONIGAN | WORLDRX EXPERIENCE

Hop in the passenger seats while both Ken Block and Andreas Bakkerud shred through some brutal World Rallycross terrain.  CREATE+DESTROY's Jeff Nicholas was VR / Creative Consultant and Executive Producer on this project for Hoonigan Racing and Ford Performance produced by VEHICLEvr. 

 

GOOGLE CARDBOARD / YOUTUBE 360

VANTAGE.TV | COACHELLA 2016

Goldenvoice's 2016 Coachella Arts & Music Festival was the first major event to embrace and integration of VR/360 content into both of its weekends. Produced by vantage.tv, 22 pieces of 360 content were shot and delivered in a 3 day period on weekend 1, 17 artists were live streamed in 360 through YouTube 360 on weekend 2, and a select group of artists were captured with 8 180/360 cameras for release through the Coachella VR app later this year.  CREATE+DESTROY's Jeff Nicholas was creative producer and director on all of it alongside vantage.tv CEO Juan Santillan, with the wonderful team at vantage.tv and some production gear support from VEHICLEvr.

CBSi | OUR REALITY IS VIRTUAL WITH KENAN THOMPSON

A VR comedy experience staring Kenan Thompson, released in 2015 for CBSi's exhibition at Cannes Lions. Written and Directed by Jeff Nicholas with Jonathan Craven for CBS Interactive via production company The Uprising Creative, with funding, production and post support from WEVR.

VANTAGE.TV | LOLLAPALOOZA 2016

2016's Lollapalooza was the first time a major festival had a VR sponsor, Samsung, and was ground zero for the first place to purchase Samsung's Gear360 camera in the US. vantage.tv produced all of the festival's official VR content including a variety of recap videos and artist performances -  all directed by CREATE+DESTROY's Jeff Nicholas - and a daily multi-cam live stream from the Samsung stage to a special Samsung activation on-site and at their Space 837 in NYC. 

BUDWEISER | 4D BREWERY TOUR

A 4D immersive VR experience - using sight, sound, smell, temperature, and touch - produced as part of an experiential campaign for Budweiser's SXSW 2016 Beer Garage, and winner of Event Marketer's 2016 "Best Use Of A Single Technology, B2B" Gold Award. Executive Produced by Jeff Nicholas with Jonathan Craven, Directed by Lex Halaby, produced by The Uprising Creative in collaboration with Pro-Ject for AB InBev's Digital Innovation Team.
